We clarify this in writing with you before any payment: who acts as importer of record, how duties are estimated per the product's HTS classification, and who pays them.
A deposit is required before we place the purchase with the supplier. The balance is due before shipment. We do not purchase with our own funds before your deposit arrives.
We inspect the goods and share photos with you before shipment. If the goods don't match the confirmed specifications, we work with the supplier on rework or replacement, and the responsibility for each scenario is agreed in writing beforehand.
